CNR has recently partnered with the Louisiana Department of Education to complete the Administrative and Procurement Reviews. We visited the state during Mardi Gras and were happy to learn that there is a strong family focus associated with this holiday. The reviewers were also excited to see Mardi Gras trees in the hotels around beautiful New Orleans. Completing reviews in Louisiana has taught us how the Federal Child Nutrition Programs can work together in one school system to provide optimal nutrition and assistance to the families. CNR has learned a great deal from working with Louisiana and values the relationship that we have created.
